Begun to function from July 1999 with 03 modern Operation Theatres, General beds, Cabins. Operations Theaters are equipped with complete modern facilities to undertake all types of ENT and Head & Neck surgery, including microsurgery. Experts in the field of microsurgery from abroad occasionally visit the SAHIC hospital to conduct training and perform advanced surgeries to the benefit our SAHIC’sSurgeon to improve their skill and confidence.
The operation charges are fixed at a rate affordable to the common people. The patients have also access to our subsidy, based on their financialability.
An air-conditioned Out Patient Department equipped with all modern instruments and equipment started functioning to treat the ear, nose and throat patients of all ages giving special preference to children, where patient of all ages with Ear, Nose & Throat diseases are treated with preference are given to the children. Out-patient department has got the provisions for simultaneous examination of 12-15 patients at a time. An average of 300-400 patients seeks treatment and advice in the out-patient department per day. 25 experienced and trained (at home and abroad) ENT Specialists are engaged to treat the patient in out-patient department.
There are 03 OT equipped with all modern sophisticated instruments and equipment’s having the facilities to undertake all types of ENT and Head & Neck surgery, including microsurgeries.
There are 20 general beds (11 male beds and 09 female beds) and 8 cabins.
A library has been setup at specialized Hospital of SAHIC. The library collected basic ENT surgery books including ENT disease, audiology and speech therapy from SAHIC own fund & World Health Organization’s fund.
Internet connection & a projector has been installed for research & Scientific activities at the library.
SAHIC Specialized ENT Hospital is also having Specialized Surgeons to conduct Cochlear Implant with the advanced knowledge and equipment. So far 19 Cochlear Implant have been done and the success rate is 100%
